The strongest antioxidant power of catechins is more than 100 times that of vitamin C and 25 times that of vitamin E!
A study in the Journal of Nutrition pointed out that people in the 379mg catechin group had an effective reduction in blood pressure, fasting blood glucose and insulin resistance (2).
A Japanese study found that people who consumed 690mg of catechins per day had significantly lower body weight, body fat, waist circumference and BMI compared to those who did not take catechins.

 

A large clinical study with 6472 subjects showed that the tea drink group had lower body mass index BMI and average waist circumference compared with those who did not.

Note:
